In 1925 as a result of the gas oil crisis Riello had to deal with the problems of adapting the burners to accept new fuels such as heavy oil etc.
With the opening of Riello's first factory in 1929, came progressive expansion in the home market.
In 1936 owing to the shortage of liquid fuels, Riello was forced to design special automatic burners, able to fire coal of low calorific value.
With the second war over in 1945, production of heavy oil burners were taken up again for domestic and industrial heating.
In the beginning of the fifties further expansion of Riello's factory, made it possible to apply the burners to a wide range of thermal applications.
In 1962 Riello Export Division was established in Padova, in order to better co-ordinate and develop the activity of the Company on foreign markets. Cementing their success in Europe and Overseas in 1971 with the dramatic growth of burner sales.
1979, was the year of the MECTRON, the electronic burner of the eighties.
1985, the year of the completion of Riello's most ambitious design and development project. The successful introduction of a comprehensive range of high output oil and gas burners. Also this year meant a new test facility, specially designed for the evaluation of the new generation of Riello burners,
1988, ever sensitive to the needs of the market, Riello introduce the successor to the Mectron burner range. "The Riello R40 Family".
